Richmond picked up a win at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium, bumping off the Harrisburg Senators, 6-3. Pitcher Enrico Ramírez was a major reason the Flying Squirrels emerged victorious. The Senators, now 6-10, continue their inauspicious start.

The Flying Squirrels got a big at-bat from right fielder Mario Santiago. For the game, Santiago was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 8th double of the season gave Richmond a 1-0 lead.

Ramírez called the win "a collective effort."
