The Quad Cities River Bandits withstood a fine game by Burlington shortstop José Salinas at Community Field, to upend the Bees, 6-3. Salinas was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. The last-place Bees have lost 4 consecutive games.

Kevin Hickman, who is tied for 5th in the MID in triples with 4, helped out the Quad Cities cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the shortstop was 1-4 with 2 walks.
