The West Michigan Whitecaps put together a convincing win at Fifth Third Ballpark, defeating the South Bend Cubs, 11-1. Joe Jacobs was one of the hitting stars. He went 4-5 with 4 singles and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for West Michigan. West Michigan, at 48-17, is cruising.
