The Portland Sea Dogs picked up a win at Hadlock Field, dropping the Richmond Flying Squirrels, 3-0. António González was the difference-maker. Dave Lavington stitched up the save, his 4th. The loss drops the Richmond record to a disappointing 7-10.

González made it look effortless. He scattered 4 hits over 8 innings, while racking up 13 strikeouts. The Portland right-hander encountered little resistance from the Richmond hitters. His season record is now 2-2.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said González.
