Chiefs Lose By a Run at Quad Cities
The Quad Cities River Bandits bumped off the Peoria Chiefs, 5-4, at Modern Woodmen Park. Alain Bureau hit 1 single and 1 double. He also had 2 runs batted in. The win was credited to Bailey Roughley in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Bob Smith took the loss. Quad Cities raised its record to 37-36 with the win.

Early in the game, Bureau had a run-scoring double for Quad Cities. It was his 4th double of the season and put the River Bandits on top, 1-0.
