The Great Lakes Loons faced a tough opponent in Lansing pitcher Dan McLeod, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Dow Diamond by a final score of 6-0. McLeod went 5.1 innings and allowed no runs. With the win, the Loons sit at 40-40.

Great Lakes shortstop Jorge Rivera contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a sinker to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 71st hit of the season and put the Loons ahead, 2-0.

Rivera attributed the win to his team's "collective resolve."
