Chiefs Tuck Away 4-1 Win Over Quad Cities
The Peoria Chiefs handed the Quad Cities River Bandits a 4-1 defeat at Dozer Park. Third Baseman Jared Rhodes starred for Peoria. He went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Bob Smith, the winning pitcher, is now 6-7. He went 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 10 hits, while fanning 4 and walking 2.
