Tony Houston kept the Quad Cities River Bandits hitters from doing much damage at Modern Woodmen Park.

Quad Cities could only muster 4 hits and draw 1 walk against the right-handed Houston, who controlled them throughout the game. Peoria won the contest, 15-0. Houston added 5 strikeouts in his complete-game effort.

"I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Houston told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time."
