Bees Improve to 51-37 with 6-4 Win
The Burlington Bees knocked off the Peoria Chiefs, 6-4, in Midwest League action at Community Field. Burlington pitcher and Nagua, Dominican Republic, native Luis González had an outstanding performance. The 'W' lifts Burlington's record to 51-37.

Burlington took a 6-4 lead on Claude Palma's 13th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Palma hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Peoria pitcher José Vargas visibly frustrated.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said González.
