Getting an impressive start from Álex Trevino, Dayton beat Kane County by the score of 6-2. Luis Oliva came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 5-4. By defeating Kane County, the last-place Dragons improved to 37-53.
Joey Ramírez hit a 2-run double off Pat Anderson in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Dragons in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Ramírez had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"I really like what we did out there today," Ramírez said after the game.
