Arteaga has 4 hits to Ignite TinCaps Offense
The home crowd had a good time watching the West Michigan Whitecaps and Fort Wayne TinCaps get after it.

Behind a fine performance from Luis Arteaga, the Fort Wayne TinCaps knocked off the West Michigan Whitecaps, 7-3. Arteaga went 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the TinCaps. Fort Wayne reliever Javier Tafar picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Sandy Lowe absorbed the loss. Víctor Trujillo earned his 1st save in 1 chances.

In the bottom of the fifth, Fort Wayne first baseman Juvenal Morroni had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Morroni stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 3-1, Fort Wayne. For the game, he was 1-3 with a walk.

"It never gets old," said Morroni. "Winning, that is."
