Beloit used a well-timed hit by Vince Scott to capture the win. The third baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Snappers ahead, 7-3. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Nelson Liriano.
