Norfolk Held Hitless by Johnson Sunday, August 17th , 2025 The Buffalo Bisons had a lot to celebrate as 34-year-old hurler Pierce Johnson no-hit the Norfolk Tides at Harbor Park. In an impressive outing that keyed the 2-0 Bisons victory, Johnson had 11 strikeouts and surrendered 4 walks. "He mixed his pitches well and hit his spots, plus he got a little help from above," said Buffalo manager Drew Saylor. "Pierce really took it to another level today."
