Indianapolis Shuts Out Louisville Behind Gordon, 1-0 Friday, August 29th , 2025 The Louisville Bats were almost helpless in their 1-0 loss to the Indianapolis Arrows and hurler Jeff Gordon. Gordon kept the Bats confused all game, spinning a 5-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Gordon," Louisville manager Jose Leger said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 26-year-old right-hander had 2 walks and 9 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Gordon said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." For the year, Gordon has collected no saves in no relief appearances. He has also rung up 119 strikeouts and 35 walks in 126 innings while registering a 3.57 ERA and a 7-6 won-lost mark. View Boxscore |
