Playoff Bound: Tides Win Wild Card Monday, September 8th , 2025 The manager of the Norfolk Tides is reminding the city of Norfolk to "keep the faith" as the team heads into the playoffs as a wild card team. "We believe in ourselves and we need our fans to believe in us too," said Charlie Poe. "We know we can get Norfolk rocking with a great run in the playoffs." It remains to be seen just how deep the Tides will be able to go in the playoffs, but confidence appears to be high. "We've got the team to win a championship, I firmly believe that," said second baseman Wilbert Austin. If the team is successful, it would be the 3rd International League championship in franchise history. |
