Louisville Downs Toledo as Kohler Tosses 5-0 Shutout Saturday, April 18th , 2026 The Toledo Mud Hens were almost helpless in their 5-0 loss to the Louisville Bats and hurler Chris Kohler. Kohler kept the Mud Hens confused all game, spinning a 6-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Kohler," Toledo manager Yusmeiro Petit said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 30-year-old left-hander had 2 walks and 8 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Kohler said.
