Buffalo Reliever Familia Will Retire Thursday, April 30th , 2026 Jeurys Familia said he's looking forward to getting home to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to relax and unwind. At age 36, the Buffalo Bisons player has announced he will retire at the end of the season. "I'm thankful for my time in International League, but all good things must come to an end," he said. Familia has pitched in 676 games over his career, posting 157 saves and a 45-47 won-lost mark. He has registered an ERA of 3.27, logged 852.1 innings and recorded 793 strikeouts. |
