IL Awards Player of the Week Monday, June 22nd , 2026 When it came to hitting the baseball, Jorge Cota was in a class by himself in the International League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding left fielder for Rochester tagged opposing pitchers for a .474 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 9 hits in 19 at-bats, 2 homers, 6 runs scored and 4 RBIs. This season, Cota has hit at a .258 clip with 13 RBIs, 3 home runs and 16 runs scored.
