Syracuse Downs Pawtucket as Brown Tosses 4-0 Shutout
Monday, June 22nd , 2026
Chris Brown was in a mood to talk following the Syracuse Chiefs contest against the Pawtucket Red Sox, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Red Sox, 4-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Brown said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The left-hander blanked Pawtucket on a 3-hitter, allowing 1 walk and racking up 7 strikeouts.
In 13 starts this year, Brown has fashioned a 5-4 record and a 2.92 ERA.
