Martínez Earns July's Top Batter Prize in IL Saturday, August 1st , 2026 Alfredo Martínez made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the International League this past month. The Toledo Mud Hens third baseman shined through the month of July and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old hit .383 with 5 home runs, 14 RBIs and 11 runs scored. This season, Martínez has hit 16 home runs and posted a .230 batting average. |
