Boyer Selected IL's Best Pitcher Saturday, August 1st , 2026 Following one of the brightest stretches in his career, the International League awarded Lehigh Valley reliever Ron Boyer July's Pitcher of the Month trophy. He was mesmerizing as he held opponents to a .183 batting average and put together a 2-1 mark, 11 saves, 19 strikeouts and a 2.12 ERA during his 17 innings of work. Boyer has 23 saves in 43 relief appearances this season with a 3-4 mark and 3.12 ERA. In 43.1 innings he has 43 strikeouts and 27 walks. Other clubs are hitting .239 against him. |
