Bisons Win, 2-0, as Maldonado Mystifies Rochester Wednesday, August 5th , 2026 In a seemingly effortless performance, Pancho Maldonado of the Buffalo Bisons shot down the Rochester Red Wings, 2-0, on 1 hit. "Pancho was just locating so well and using his pitches," Buffalo manager Mark Budzinski said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Maldonado recorded 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Rochester manager Chris Tremie said in postgame comments to BNN.
