Redbirds Blank Nashville, López Winner Sunday, August 24th , 2025 The Nashville Sounds were almost helpless in their 4-0 loss to the Memphis Redbirds and hurler Orlando López. López kept the Sounds confused all game, spinning a 3-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to López," Nashville manager Steve Scarsone said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 29-year-old right-hander had 6 walks and 3 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," López said.
