AC Selects Ramírez August's Top Starter Monday, September 1st , 2025 Oklahoma City Dodgers starter Ernie Ramírez has collected the American Conference Pitcher of the Month award for a run of lights-out performances. "This town really appreciates it when you're going well," said Ramírez. "They might boo you when you're getting knocked around, but they love you when you're mowin' them down." In August the 24-year-old compiled a 5-0 record in 6 starts with a 2.05 ERA. He threw 44 innings, fanning 34 while walking 8. Up to now Ramírez has recorded a record of 14-1. In 23 starts he has fanned 125 batters in 157 innings with a 2.41 ERA. |
