Season-Ending Injury for Muñóz Thursday, September 4th , 2025 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Omaha's Esteban Muñóz to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 09/02/2025 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Muñóz said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Muñóz has been out of action since he suffered a stretched elbow ligament. Thus far this season, Muñóz has tossed 107.2 innings in 18 starts, fanned 100 batters, walked 51 and put up a 4.10 ERA with 5 wins and 6 losses. |
