Hiter Strokes 5 Hits Wednesday, May 27th , 2026 Colorado Springs right fielder Eric Hiter had a day to remember, 5-for-5 against the El Paso Chihuahuas at as the Sky Sox picked up a win, 11-1. "He was patient up there," Colorado Springs skipper Tony Sipp told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Hiter has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Eric Hiter hit an RBI single in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
