Chihuahuas End Reynolds Streak Monday, July 6th , 2026 The Reno Aces lost to the El Paso Chihuahuas, 4-0, at , but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Joe Reynolds's 20-game hitting streak. The first baseman went 0-for-4 on the day. "We felt if we could slow down Reynolds, we would win the game," Chihuahuas manager Andy Hayes explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down." Currently Reynolds is batting .300 with 2 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
