Webb Shuts Out Oklahoma City, 2-0 Wednesday, July 8th , 2026 The Oklahoma City Dodgers were almost helpless in their 2-0 loss to the Iowa Cubs and hurler Joe Webb. Webb kept the Dodgers confused all game, spinning a 5-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Webb," Oklahoma City manager Mitch Moreland said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 28-year-old right-hander had 2 walks and 4 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Webb said.
