Baker Holds El Paso Scoreless Monday, August 3rd , 2026 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the El Paso Chihuahuas as starter Ron Baker shut them out, 1-0, at Herschel Greer Stadium. The Nashville pitcher struck out 6 and walked 3 while allowing 5 hits. "Baker was good but he wasn't flawless," El Paso manager Andy Hayes said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Nashville, but this is on us."
