Barton on the Attack, Player of the Week Monday, August 24th , 2026 It was an extraordinary week for Ed Barton of the Omaha Storm Chasers. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .393, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the American Conference. Last week Barton went 11-for-28, racked up 4 home runs and 13 RBIs and scored 8 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Omaha first baseman. This year, Barton is batting .350 with 5 home runs. He has scored 19 runs and driven in 24. |
