Reynolds Shows Off, Hits for Cycle Thursday, August 27th , 2026 Nashville first baseman Jake Reynolds had a field day at Herschel Greer Stadium, battering Iowa pitchers and hitting for the cycle. Reynolds sparked the Sounds to a win, 9-4, over the Cubs by going 4-for-5 with 2 RBI and scoring 4 runs. "I was seeing the ball great today," Reynolds said. "I'm glad it translated into results on the field." Jake Reynolds doubled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Víctor Trujillo in the 5th and tripled in the 8th.
