Clark Sensational, 5-for-7
Wednesday, June 25th , 2025
Ron Clark told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard."
Well, that's just what Clark of the Harrisburg Senators did against the Binghamton Mets. He went to the plate 7 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a defeat, 7-6.
"Not much I can say," offered Clark in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?"
Ron Clark hit a three-run home run off Luis Cordero in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Luis Cordero in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, singled in the 11th, singled in the 14th and struck out in the 15th.
This year, Clark is batting .287 with 3 home runs and 12 RBIs.
