Injury Update for Akron, Young Monday, September 8th , 2025 Team officials for the Akron RubberDucks confirmed that a torn ulnar collateral ligament will force Tim Young to miss the rest of the season. Young sustained the injury on 09/05/2025. It remains to be seen who will replace Young on the active roster. Young has made 15 starts, tossed 88.1 innings, struck out 73 batters and walked 44. His record is 2-8 with a 5.30 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .278 batting average. |
