Luis Provolone Named EL's Best Player
Monday, September 29th , 2025
The manager of the Erie SeaWolves said he thinks Luis Provolone is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 21, but it will be hard to top the right fielder's 2025 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Eastern League Most Valuable Player Award.

His winning campaign featured a .312 batting average and a .371 on-base percentage this year. In 118 games he piled up 160 hits, 38 doubles, 7 triples, 15 home runs, 58 RBIs and 98 runs scored.

He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 12. Ben Page of the Erie SeaWolves finished second in voting, while Dany Rojas of the Trenton Thunder finished third.
