Super Swinger -- Sperring Slams 5 Hits Monday, May 4th , 2026 Mike Sperring was on fire, sparking his club to a win, 17-3, over the Baysox. The Binghamton center fielder was a tough out and went 5-for-6 against Bowie in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in." Mike Sperring grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Tony MartÃnez in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
