Hit Streak Now at 20 for Duffy Thursday, May 21st , 2026 Jim Duffy's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Erie. The 22-year-old shortstop extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 2-for-4 performance against the Binghamton Mets. The SeaWolves won the game, 4-2. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Jim Duffy singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th and grounded out in the 7th. This season, Duffy is swinging the bat at a .340 rate with 51 hits in 150 at-bats. To date he has hit 1 home run, scored 32 runs and driven in 14. |
