Finnegan Dominates New Britain Friday, May 22nd , 2026 Trenton Thunder starter Brandon Finnegan really did a number on the New Britain Rock Cats, shutting them out, 4-0, on 5 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 1 walk and had 5 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said New Britain manager Gary Kendall. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Finnegan."
