Fightin Phils Pitching Ravaged by Hernández Sunday, June 7th , 2026 It was a parade of hits for Jesús Hernández of the Akron RubberDucks at Canal Park. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Hernández finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the RubberDucks to a win, 12-1. "Hernández was really good and we were really bad," groaned Fightin Phils manager Shaun Larkin. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Jesús Hernández doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
