Reading Won't Make Playoffs Wednesday, August 12th , 2026 Fans of the Reading Fightin Phils have long since given up hope of the club making a serious playoff push this season. But now those hopes are officially gone, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Reading last appeared in the postseason in 2017. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 11 times in their 12-year history. |
