Curve End Travassos Streak Saturday, August 15th , 2026 The 21-game hitting streak of Juan Travassos has come to an end. The Trenton Thunder center fielder went 0-for-2 in his team's 10-2 loss to the Altoona Curve at People's Natural Gas Field. "It's not just Juan who came up short," Thunder manager Eric Owens said in his postgame press conference. "This was a team loss." This year, Travassos has collected a .296 batting average to date with 95 hits in 321 at-bats, 33 RBIs, 9 home runs and scored 43 times. He has played in 77 games. |
