Phillipson Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Friday, August 22nd , 2025 Jackson defeated Tennessee at Smokies Park. The star of the game for the Generals was center fielder Gerald Phillipson. His hitting heroics included a 5-for-5 day, paving the way for Jackson's 8-6 triumph over the Smokies. Gerald Phillipson doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Dimitri Nedelec in the 7th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
