Red-Hot Stanton SL Player of the Week Monday, August 10th , 2026 It was an extraordinary week for Alex Stanton of the Jackson Generals. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .500, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the Southern League. Last week Stanton went 8-for-16, racked up 1 home run and 4 RBIs and scored 2 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Jackson left fielder. For the season, Stanton has produced 25 hits in 74 at-bats for a .338 average with 4 home runs and gotten on base at a .412 clip. |
