Jacobs Wins TEX Top Pitcher Award Friday, August 1st , 2025 The Texas League announced the winner of the Pitcher of the Month Award. It went to bullpen specialist Del Jacobs of Northwest Arkansas for his outstanding work on the mound. He chalked up a 4-0 record, 10 relief appearances and 6 saves with a 3.86 ERA. Jacobs pitched 9.1 innings and rang up 10 strikeouts. Running the numbers on Jacobs for the year, he has made 34 relief appearances, recorded 21 saves and compiled a 6-4 won-lost mark with a 4.11 ERA. In pitching 50.1 innings, he has totaled 46 strikeouts and 23 walks. |
