Brad Williams Blanks Corpus Christi, 7-0 Monday, August 4th , 2025 The Corpus Christi Hooks were almost helpless in their 7-0 loss to the San Antonio Missions and hurler Brad Williams. Williams kept the Hooks confused all game, spinning a 4-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Williams," Corpus Christi manager Alex Gordon said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 23-year-old right-hander had 2 walks and 9 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Williams said.
