August's #1 Hurler Announced: Navas Wins Award Monday, September 1st , 2025 He was the #1 pitcher in August according to the voters. Javier Navas completely shut down opposing teams to win the Texas League Pitcher of the Month Award. Tulsa's star reliever held the opposition to a .192 average and put up 11 saves and 17 strikeouts in 14 innings with a 2-0 mark and 1.29 ERA. This year, Navas has 26 relief appearances with 16 saves, 2-2 season record and a 2.61 ERA. He has hurled 31 innings, given up 31 hits, struck out 32 and walked 10.
