Week's Best Player Honored by TEX Monday, September 8th , 2025 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Jorge Ortega was rewarded with the Texas League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Tulsa Drillers first baseman hit .524 while collecting 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs. Thus far this season in 105 games, Ortega is batting .281 with 15 home runs, 49 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has 80 hits in 285 at-bats. |
