Arkansas Defeats Corpus Christi Sunday, September 21st , 2025 This is the time of the baseball season when grown men are reduced to tears. This year, the Arkansas Travelers were shedding tears of joy and the Corpus Christi Hooks those of sorrow. The Travelers topped the Hooks today 8-1 at Dickey-Stephens Park and locked up their 2nd Texas League Round 2 championship, winning the series 4-1. "To come this far and leave empty-handed is not easy," said Corpus Christi manager Alex Gordon.
