TEX's Premier Player for 2025 Named
Monday, October 6th , 2025
The manager of the Frisco RoughRiders said he thinks Hank Hembrow is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 24, but it will be hard to top the third baseman's 2025 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Texas League Most Valuable Player Award.

His winning campaign featured a .328 batting average and a .417 on-base percentage this year. In 83 games he piled up 98 hits, 29 doubles, 3 triples, 14 home runs, 54 RBIs and 52 runs scored.

He received 4 first place votes out of a possible 8. Augusto Valentín of the Corpus Christi Hooks finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Jon Roussel of the Tulsa Drillers finished third with 2 first place votes.
