Season Done for Bixler Tuesday, July 28th , 2026 Quentin Bixler has to call it a season. The San Antonio Missions reliever learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 07/25/2026 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 12 months. The team will likely place Bixler on the injured list today. This season, Bixler has picked up 14 saves and posted a 3-4 record with a 2.70 ERA. He has 31 relief appearances, tossed 43.1 innings and struck out 14. |
