Amezcha Is July's Top Starter Saturday, August 1st , 2026 This month when the Tulsa manager wrote the name "Amezcha" on the lineup card, he was confident that he would get a good start out of him. Outing after outing in July Jesús Amezcha took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 5-0 mark and 1.75 ERA in 5 starts, piling up 36 innings and 39 strikeouts and holding opposing teams to a .161 average. For his superb performance Amezcha was named the Texas League Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. Amezcha has made 19 starts so far this year and put up a 11-5 won-lost record with a 2.68 ERA. In 134.1 innings he has allowed 101 hits, walked 55 and struck out 159. |
